Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information the palarel.com website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We have tried to write it the way we would want to read it: short and plain.
Who we are
Palarel is a pre-launch product feedback intelligence tool for B2B software teams. This website is an informational site about the product. This policy covers the website only; if you join the product itself, its data practices will be described in a separate agreement before you connect anything.
What we collect
We collect very little, and we collect it in two ways:
- Anonymous site analytics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics service. It does not use cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and does not track you across other sites. It gives us aggregate information such as page views, referrers, country-level location, and browser type. We cannot identify you from it.
- Email correspondence. If you email us, for example to request early access, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you write to us.
The website has no user accounts, no signup forms, and no advertising or social media trackers.
How we use it
- Aggregate analytics help us understand which pages people read and where visitors come from, so we can improve the site.
- Email correspondence is used to reply to you, to arrange walkthroughs or early access if you asked for them, and to keep a record of the conversation.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information, and we never will.
- We do not share your email address with third parties for their marketing.
- We do not set tracking cookies on this site.
Service providers
Like most websites, we rely on a small number of service providers to operate: Cloudflare for hosting and analytics, Google Fonts for typefaces, and an email provider to receive and send mail. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy and security commitments. When you load this site, your browser requests fonts from Google's servers, which involves your IP address being sent to Google as part of the normal request.
Retention
Analytics data is aggregate and is retained by Cloudflare per its standard retention periods. Email correspondence is kept for as long as we have an ongoing conversation or a business reason to keep it, such as a pending early access request. If you ask us to delete our correspondence with you, we will, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, which in practice is limited to email correspondence. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond promptly.
Children
This site is intended for a professional audience and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above. If a change is significant, we will make that clear on this page.
